Introducing the Encore Louisville Class of 2026

Leadership Louisville Center Welcomes 48 Seasoned Leaders Ready to Give Back

The Leadership Louisville Center is proud to announce the Encore Louisville Class of 2026, 48 experienced professionals from across the Louisville region who are bringing their lifetime of expertise to bear on behalf of our nonprofit community.

Since its founding in 2014, Encore Louisville has united passionate, seasoned professionals to provide strategic insight and hands-on consulting support to local nonprofit organizations. The program is designed for experienced leaders, many retired or in a late-career transition, who are ready to build a legacy of civic engagement.

Over more than a decade of service, Encore Louisville participants have now completed 180 nonprofit consulting projects, contributed nearly 9,000 volunteer hours, and delivered an estimated $1.7 million in value to the Louisville community.

The Class of 2026 reflects the remarkable depth and diversity of experience that defines Encore Louisville. Among this year’s members are retired CEOs, physicians, attorneys, educators, nonprofit executives, and communications and marketing professionals — leaders who have helmed organizations ranging from community foundations and school districts to Fortune-ranked companies and healthcare systems.

Together, they bring decades of leadership in sectors including healthcare, education, finance, arts administration, technology, and social services.

Throughout 2026, class members will participate in quarterly program days and self-select into one to two Community Acceleration Team (CAT) projects, working directly with local nonprofits on challenges including strategy, governance, fundraising, marketing, and organizational effectiveness.
