When experience meets passion, incredible things happen—and the 2024 Encore Louisville class proved just that. These seasoned professionals stepped forward as trusted advisors to help local nonprofits overcome challenges, refine strategies, and amplify their impact. Through our Community Acceleration Teams, Encore leaders provided hands-on support that delivered real, lasting solutions for organizations across Kentuckiana.

In 2024 alone, 18 nonprofits were served, contributing 1,755 volunteer hours and generating an in-kind impact of $606,275. That’s not just impressive—it’s transformational.

Empowering Nonprofits Across the Region

Encore Louisville partnered with a wide range of nonprofits, each tackling critical community needs. This year’s cohort supported missions that span mental health, education, the arts, and historic preservation:

  • Mental Health Lou & You – Boosted access to mental health resources by enhancing outreach and community awareness.

  • Imagination Library – Helped close the literacy gap in Jefferson County—where 61% of kindergarteners begin school unprepared—by expanding the program’s reach and sustainability.

  • Louisville Academy of Music – Crafted a roadmap for growth to ensure more young people have access to music education.

  • St. Philip of Neri Chapel – Developed a strategic vision to transform this historic space into a thriving community hub.

Driving Lasting Impact

Encore Louisville is more than just a short-term solution—it’s a catalyst for long-term growth and resilience. The 2024 class:

  • Conducted in-depth interviews with nonprofit boards to strengthen leadership and governance.

  • Researched best practices to help organizations clarify their missions and optimize resources.

  • Developed strategic roadmaps to guide growth, deepen community engagement, and ensure sustainability.

Thanks to the dedication and expertise of our Encore volunteers, nonprofits walked away with clearer direction, stronger leadership, and practical strategies to fuel their futures.
